Description

Georeferenced polygons circling the fortifications or lines delineating them.

Why using remote sensors?: 

Fortifications can be detected visually, or in certain cases semi-automatically, on aerial photographs. A preliminary analysis of the conflict landscape helps focus on locations where these objects are more likely to be found.
